The smithy looks at you carefully, taking his time to size you up. "It seems you'll be better served by an enchanter. Me I cannot make a lighter and stronger armor or a sharper dagger by using just plain old iron." pointing at a pile of ore on the floor next to his furnace. "If you can bring me some rare ore, I can smelt it and fashion you some unique items out of it. As for the price, we'll see about it once you've brought me something to work on." He turns back to his anvil where a horseshoe is getting colder and starts hammering on it again.

Jamdak
Arriving at the Trader's place.
Hi, I have a chain mail to sale and I'm looking for a banded mail. Do you have one and at what price do we have a trade?

The trader responds "Hello good sir! It is your lucky day. I just received from Treshold a suit of banded mail fit for a proud dwarven warrior such as yourself. I sell it for the same price that I sell normal sized armors. It contains less material but they are more rare so I believe it is a fair deal. I'll give it to you for 85 gold pieces and will take your chain mail armor for 35. So 50 total and you're set my friend."

You go back to the tavern for lunch, having completed your preparations for the expedition to the Caves of Chaos. You still to decide whether you'll leave this afternoon or tomorrow morning. As you enter the tavern you see two new patrons whom you haven't seen before at the Keep. They must've arrived just this morning. One looks to be an armored warrior with a long scar on his left arm. The other, who clearly doesn't look from around here, is a young man with the white pelt of a snow wolf as his headgear.
((Krim and Grok'tul can now play in the IC thread. Enjoy!))

Ugrad,
Let's wait until the morrow. This will give us our companion time to recover.

Patting Ugrad on the back, Grok'tul introduces himself with his traditional straight to the point attitude.
You're one 'o they men that attack'd the liz'rd men keep with lor' Pelladres? Me god wan's me to prove m'self in the ancien'art of battle and y'folks seem like good fella's to be puttin' me self in dang'r wit'.
He then leans back, opening his arms in a gesture of friendship and awaits a reply.
So wha' do y' say?

Slightly recoiling from Ugra's attitude, he then turns to the other nearest party member and emploi's the traditionnal way of making new friends of his clan.
Sheesh! nev'rmind. Here's to hopin' that th'rest of ye are a bit mor' friendly. Who wan's a roun' o' drinks? Its on yer's truly!
((Sorry, i'm not fully aware of who's in the tavern and who isnt.))

Beltyne, this guy is ok right? Funny name, but seems nice.
We should go to caves now, check it out, come back if we have to. I ready to go now. Actually, I want a potion like Sir Pelandres before we leave. Beltyne can you talk to Roldo for me? Make sure I get fair price?
