Rattlehead
While celebrating, as soon as I see Ugrad is alone I go to him;
Listen friend, i've made a plan to get to Roldo's room and steal a few things that would help us later on in a fight but I need you to get him out of his room and give me some time. So ask him to come identify the blue potion and pay his service with Lombdas' money. I'm asking you cause I know you're not as ''tight'' as the others, they wouldn't understand. We could share that I'll pick-up in any way you see it fit. What you say?

Ugrad,
Let me think about it. He might suspect that I was involved with whoever robbed him. I`ll get back to you soon.

Ugrad,
Ok, I'll do it. I'll mention to everyone in the group that I am going to ask Roldo to evaluate the blue potion and pay whatever his cost but I won't mention anything else. I'm going to wait for Roldo to show up.
As they say from where I grew up: Kinerisk rienne gagnerien.

Rattlehead
((I planned on waiting til he got out of his room, lock pick his doorlock. If it doesn't work try to sneak in by his window (with rope and grappling hook if the window is too high) or try to sneak in at his neighbor and jump his balcony, that's pretty much with this order))

((As a first level thief your lock picking skill is not that great but your climb wall skill is pretty good. I'll let you try the lock pick and then go for the door if it fails and if you're not caught. I'll post the results as soon as I can (possibly in a private sub-forum).))

((Reread the description of the inn from the module and it is not exactly as I had pictured it in my mind.))
It doesn't take long for Roldo, the halfling alchemist to show up at the tavern. Ugrad approaches him with the blue potion and asks him to identify it. The halfling uncorks it, takes a sniff and says that he will do it for 30 gold pieces. As Roldo gets to work, Rattlehead excuses himself saying that he has to go take a dump (should roughly take the same time as what he is really planning to do).
Outside, the night is dark and cloudy. Only a slim sliver of the moon shines through on the Keep's courtyard. The inn is a long low (18' high) building with private rooms on the first floor. The second floor is occupied by a small loft where the innkeeper and his family live. The courtyard is deserted. Everyone seems to be at the tavern celebrating.
Veiled in shadows, Rattlehead crosses the short distance that leads to the inn and checks on Roldo's window. Locked, of course. He then decides to enter through the previously unlocked window of his room; feeling safer in knowing that the innkeeper hasn't seen him enter the building. He starts moving towards the halfling's room trying to make as less noise as possible but the wood floor still gives some creaking sounds and he steps on it. He stops for a instant, listens for any sound but does not hear anyone coming. He continues.
The corridor is dimly lit by a lone lantern and no one else is in sight. Rattlehead gets to work with his thieves' tools; trying to pick the lock on the door to room 7. He tries his best for close to ten minutes but can't manage to do it. At this, point he'll need further training in lockpicking or the keys to go through the door.
Rattlehead goes back to his room and starts to think.
What does he do?

Rattlehead
((Can I try to pick the lock of the window by the outside of the Inn?))
If not, I'll just give up and go back to the others, give a sign to Ugrad that I didn't succeed. I'll check if I can see a key I can pickpocket (on a wall near the Innkeeper for example) but I don't want to do something I evaluate Under 70% of success

Rattlehead
((Can I try to pick the lock of the window by the outside of the Inn?)) ((No. It's locked from the inside by a locket and there isn't something to pick from the outside. You could of course break the window.))

Rattlehead
If my character judges nobody is in sight and the noise would be covered by the celebration Inside, I'll try to break the window, otherwise I'll just do what I said in the last post.
