The surviving members of your expedition come back to the Keep, exhausted and battered. You are happy to have survived, proud to have vanquished a powerful ogre, but also sad at the demise of your companions.
It is almost lunch time but the stress, adrenaline and grief have turned your stomach upside-down and you don't feel very hungry. Maybe a nice cold tankard of ale will allow you to wash up the bad memories and enjoy your triumphs.
((What do you want to at the Keep? We can do this fast and not linger here for to long. Make me a bullet point list of all you want to do including for how long you plan to rest and I'll try to resolve everything in a timely manner.
Players of dead characters, now's the time to rollup new adventurers if you want to participate in the next foray into the Caves of Chaos.
I'll count and attribute XPs to the survivors as soon as I can. I'll post a notice in the OOC thread.))

Rattlehead
Looking pissed of the last adventure's result, I say in a persisting way
It's time to move, we've done what we have to do here. I want to move out of this hole. Don't count on me to go back there.
If they are so eager to die, I can help them to do so.

Beltyne, what do you want to do? Sir Pelandres did not give me any fighing lessons yet. Maybe he can help us clear the caves?
Adoven does not need anything (he has run out of gp).

I think we should rest until we heal and mourn our friends. Adoven you should wait until you get your lesson. Your a great warrior but you could learn a lot from him. Turning towards Rattlehead. I think that we should go back to the cave. Goblins are not know to be very organized. So our next trip should be easier. It would be nice to find some treasures and these are up for the grabbing.

I agree to go back. The rumours of these impenetrable caves are starting to sound true and it must mean that the treasure within them is well worth it...
We'll be rich!!!

So the adventurers decide to wait for Sir Pelandres to recover. You do not hear any news from the knight for eight days!!! ((See costs in the OOC section below)) During that time Grok'tul has plenty of time to heal his wounds ((back to full health)) and search for hired help. You meet with the Halfling Dinto and the Dwarf Thurg. Two man-at-arms ready to brave the dangers of the Caves with you for 3gp/day each. Who do you hire and who will be their leader? On the eighth day, Sir Pelandres walks in the tavern, his plate mail polished like a mirror glowing in the sun, finding you all assembled around a table and says: "Ah my friends! I was afraid you might have left the Keep during my stay with the Castellan. I am happy to find you here all fit and well. But wait... where is Ugrad and Jamdak? Did they left while I was resting? I wished I could have bid them farewell."By the way, during your week of rest, Roldo the traveling alchemist packed his wares and left the Keep. However, a mysterious robed old man has arrived and seems to have magical scrolls for sale. (( - Those that took this opportunity to relax, eat plenty of food, ale, wine and enjoy the company of the beautiful maiden at the tavern, pay 30gp for your stay. But you are such in high spirit that you'll enjoy a +1 on all rolls for the next adventure
- Those that were more economical but still ate hot food from the tavern, pay 20gp for their stay.
- Those that tried to stay frugal while staying at the inn and ate using rations will only need to pay 10 gp for their stay. But they are now grumpy and do not feel much rested so you'll suffer from a -1 on all rolls for their next adventure.
- Those that stayed in the common room and ate rations are still tired and suffer from a -2 to all rolls for the next adventure but only have to pay 3gp for their entire stay. Also something might happen to you while sleeping with all the random strangers in the common room.
