Lombdas
Someone wants to taste the wine?
How long have we been gone since this morning? We possibly can still consider leaving to check out the Caves of Chaos. Unless we continue to look around the area...

Judging from the position of the sun it is past eleven o'clock in the morning.

Varick
Varick slowly raises a hand up in response to Lombdas, while he keeps on searching the interior, meaning to say "try not to disturb me, I am busy searching...".

Arom
I wouldn't touch the wine with a 10-foot pole.
Let's go to the Caves unless someone comes up with a reason to stay around here.

Varick enters the room and start to cautiously look around. He doesn't notice anything more than what he could see from the entrance ((please specify what you're looking at/how you're inspecting things)). But near the center of the room, your footsteps make an hollow sound...

Lombdas
You heard that? Varick step back, you seem to have found a trap door of some sort. Do you want to check it out?

Varick
Varick uses the hilt of his dagger to knock on the floor. He looks for a crack near where the sound changes from hollow to solid.

Coylian
I stand up slowly and draw my dagger and wait to see what Varick discovers.

Varick knocks on the floor with the hilt of his dagger until he knows precisely which section sounds hollow. Using his dagger's blade to trace an outline in the dirt, he discovers, as everyone had guessed, a trapdoor. He wipes the dirt off with one of his glove and moves the simple wooden plank aside. The smell of rot and decay intensifies as a puff of foul air escape from the pit. With Coylian coming by to shine his torch at the hole, you can see a spiralling staircase, dug in the earth, going down deeper into the darkness.
