Arom
Arom is not too sure if he should get involved in this. He seems to always say the wrong thing when he talks to strangers. Or maybe because he's been talking to the wrong kind of strangers.
I whisper to Varick: "I think that this fellow would probably make a decent companion. I agree that whatever loot we find is split in a fair share amongst all companions. That may also save our life in case of danger".

Lombdas
Well, that Xorag guy sure was drunk... He would've push me a little bit more and it would have turned into a blood bath. Poor him, he wouldn't even understood what hit him... Good thing he went on to find a girl, he surely needed it. Still, I feel like we'll hear more about him...
Joining the conversation with Varick and Arom, Lombdas adds: It 's good to have some choices. We haven't went very far in our first attempt. We may have to come back to find more companions. I'm OK to a fair share of the loot and should make an offer to Wergrim. By the way, I bet that we'll hear from Xorag in the morning. He looked like a man that would go "first", if you know what I mean. It could be convenient!
Subtly stretching his back and hiding a small yawn, Lombdas adds: I'm starting to be jealous of Coylian that's probably sleeping deeply. Can we do the same and be alert in the morning?

Varick
Wergrim seems like the better choice, I didn't get a good feeling from that Xorag fellow. Let's go see the blacksmith and see how that shield looks. We could sell it in the morning before heading out. That's if Coylian is feeling better. After the blacksmith, I am going to the inn to sleep.

Arom
That's a very good idea. Let's go see the blacksmith. We may need the money to cure Coylian if my spell doesn't work.

The party leave behind Xorag, the mysterious follower of Yig and Wergrim, the warrior from the north. They get to the blacksmith's place just as he is closing down shop for the night. "Ah mister Varick. I was not sure you'd come in time to pick it up tonight. I just finished polishing it and I must say it is of a most interesting build. Light, yet strong you can barely see a scratch on it. Though it seems to be definitely made of steel, not any rarer type of metal, I would hazard that it might have been imbued with some kind of minor enchantment. I cannot say which or what it does but if you're willing to sell it, I would offer you two hundred gold pieces."

Varick
You did some nice work, that shield looks like new. It is not only mine to sell though, so I'll have to discuss your offer with the rest of my companions. I'll have an answer for you tomorrow either way.
(( Varick plans on meeting with the provisioner tomorrow for his appraisal of the shield. If the price the blacksmith gave is in the same ball park, he plans on selling it to the blacksmith. That's if no one else has a better idea. ))

After a restful night of sleep at the Traveler's Inn, the adventurers go see Coylian in his private apartment. Arom kneel before his bed and asks for his God's blessing in curing Coylian. The fighter regains some of his strength, at least enough to go around the Keep but still feel his old wounds and the illness he caught in the old elven ruins.
((Coylian needs to decide if he spends the whole day resting (for 1d3 hit points) or if he accompanies the party.))
The adventurers then head to the provisioner and the trader (Flynn's Imports). There, both merchants quickly assess the value of the item. They both say that without the expertise of a sage, they cannot give the item its proper value. The provisioner is willing to offer you 45 gold pieces for it. While Flynn beats the blacksmith's offer by a tiny margin with 203 gold pieces saying he'll ship it to Treshold where one of his contacts will surely be able to get it properly assessed and sold.
((-1gp for everyone that stayed at the Inn and -3sp for the breakfast if you didn't eat a 1/3 ration (including Coylian). Some ate and payed for food yesterday; for those that didn't, pay an extra 1gp now or deduct a 1/3 ration. I do not want to verify that everyone is doing their expenses but if I catch someone not doing it...
Alternatively you can pay now 100gp per person for the cost of living one full month at the Keep. Single room, three meals per day and a couple of baths included. Non-refundable but you'd be done with accounting.))
Mechanics: Arom casts Cure Light Wounds at Coylian, 3 hit points regained

After Coylian received the visit of Arom and his companions (wether or not he accompanies the others), he finds a letter slid under his door.
It states that as you are no longer under the employ of the Curate of Typhon, the apartment you are currently in is no longer for you to use. You must leave the premise before tomorrow, find lodging elsewhere or leave the Keep.
