Varick
Xorag, we may have started off on the wrong foot. We'll talk it over and get back to you, we have other candidates that we must consider. You'll be here or at the inn tomorrow, right?

Xorag Deathshade
Taking another swallow, Xorag burps as he laughs and spits some ale across the table. "Other candidates! Yes, go ponder your candidates while I drink and take a woman to bed. I would rather act than talk. I have had enough of talking." He then sets his chair straight in front of his table, gathers the remaining full tankards of ale and yells to the barkeep. "A wench! Fetch me a wench. I need to spend my seed tonight." His speech slurring slightly, Xorag speaks in no particular direction while addressing Varick. "My bed..... my bed with a wench is where you will find me. F*cking her like it was my last day on this plane of existence."

((With his looks, Xorag will have to pay a tidy sum if he wants to find a women to spend the night with. The Keep is not a big place and there are not many citizens so it's not easy to find a harlot; especially with a charisma of 5.))

(( Varick already tried that, and he has a charisma of 7. We definitely need to find a bigger city. ))

Leaving Xorag to his quest of finding a women, the adventurers approach the big warrior in leather armor. He welcomes them to his table and says with a strong accent "My name is Wergrim and I come from the north."

Varick
Good day Wergrim, my name is Varick. We need a fighter to join our group. We plan on finding that loot that is supposedly in those caves to the north-east. Would you be interested?

"Aye I might be. For an equal share of the plunder I'd willing to lend you my spear." Pointing with his chin at Xorag he continues "Oh, and I hope that the loud mouth over there with a face that looks like an arse isn't part of your group." He then takes a swig of his honey mead and adds "Barrrhh, I can't believe they charge ten silver coins for this watered down piss. Not like the hydromel my clan makes in the highlands."

An equal share is a bit much, what do you have as equipment? Are you good in a fight? Look, I'de rather have you than that rude fellow over there, so I'll try to convince the others.

"I have a strong spear in steel forged in the mountains, a dagger, this armor, a wooden shield and my hunting knife." He takes out a bone knife and puts it on the table. "In my clan, to become a man, a lad has to go alone in the mountains and slay one of the big white bears. Then he carves himself a knife from one of the fangs of the beast and bring it back to the clan as proof that he is a man. You wanted proof of my worth in battle; here it is. Now let's talk coins. If a share of the plunder is too much to ask for, what do you offer?"
((His armour is a suit of leather armour and an heavy fur cloak. As to the knife, no need to call the guards as a small utility knife can be kept inside the Keep. A dagger is significantly larger than a knife and has a cross-guard. If you want you can all consider already having a small utility knife.))

I have to talk it over with the others, but I think we could split the loot evenly amongst the group. Of course, you understand that there are no guaranties that we will find anything right, and that we all have to look out for each others' safety. I am hoping to leave in the next day or so, just need to wait for a friend to get better.
