Looking at Varick with a hopeful grin, he turns to Arom: Are you ready to bring back Coylian and Varick at the Keep?

Disregarding Coylian's wounded state, Varick quaffs the antidote given to them by the wandering priest at the Keep. Almost immediately he starts to feel better. After a minute or so it is as if he never had any problem with the green fog.
Do you want to do anything along the way back to the Keep or do you just wish to get there as fast as possible?
((Varick, your constitution goes back to its normal level. Discard the antidote from you inventory.))

Varick
Let's double-time it back to the keep. Hopefully there is another potion there for Coylian. This time, when we get to the passage inside the tunnel, I'll throw my oil flask and light it so that we can make it out the other side without by attacked by another creature.
Varick finds a walking stick to lead the way back to the tunnel, trying to pass at the same place they came from originally.

Arom
Feeling guilty about the trick on Coylian,
I will protect the rear. If something attacks us, it will have to go thru me
I light up a new torch.

With Varick leading them once again through the swamps, the adventurers safely reach the tunnel that goes under the river. Halfway through it, Varick throws a flask of oil and a lit torch down the sideway shaft from which the carcass scavenger emerged this morning. As the oil burns, the party continues forward hoping to reach the exit as quickly as possible. They get out, glad to see the sunlight and press on to reach the Keep before sundown.
They pass the Keep's heavily guarded gate as the sky is turning to a deep orange hue. As the heavy portcullis is lowered behind them, the adventurers immediately feel relief as they are back within the safety of the Keep's stone walls.
((Varick deduct one pint of oil and one torch from your inventory. Arom one torch.))
((Thread closed. Please continue at Back at the Keep.))
