Arom
I take a defensive stance and I start slowly moving backward, hoping that Coylian can kill the one behind me.
Typhon, I need your help.

Lombdas
...I have to arrive before it's too late... Must... run... faster...
Avoiding all sorts of rocks, fallen branches and tree stumps, Lombdas sprints with all his might to where he hopes to find his friends. At least, that's what he hopes they'll still be... if they still are... He refuses to think that anything could've happen and he concentrates on his surroundings to reach his destination. Reaching out to the wind, the sounds and the smells he knows that he's close. He feels that he's close... He hears that he's close... Coylian.
As Lombdas arrives near the ongoing battle he quickly tries to assess what's happening. Arom and Coylian are losing the fight... I have to act fast. As he moves into battle, he uses his last breath to send the group to a happy placeā¦
((I cast my Sleep spell on the group. Not sure if Coylian and Arom are affected by the spell))

Keeping the momentum from their last attack, the hobgoblin strike at the remaining adventurers first. One of the two in front of Arom moves in to strike at the cleric with his short sword. The cleric of Typhon puts his shield in front of him to protect himself but at the last moment the hobgoblin ducks low and to the left. He dodges the shield and rise up quickly to stick his sword in the cleric's neck. A waterfall of blood fall down from the gaping wound as the cleric of Typhon falls to his knee, looking high toward heaven, knowing that he will finally meet his god.
The hobgoblin which Coylian is charging isn't at all surprised by the maneuver. He spins around, reversing his grip on his blade and jumps at the incoming warrior. Coylian falls on his back with the hobgoblin on top of him. The monster hack and slash again and again at the poor fighter. With multiple vital organs damaged, Coylian slowly closes his eyes to this world. May he have an afterlife as heroic as his life was.
As the monsters regroup to loot the body of the adventurers, a sudden discharge of energy, like thunder with no sound can be felt falling over the monsters. A second after, all the monsters fall to the ground in deep slumber. On the trail appears Lombdas the elf. As he surveys the scene a deep look of grief and sorrow carves itself on his face. He unsheathes his sword and silently kill the monsters. Wiping his blade on one of the beast's hide, he takes a moment to ponder his next move.
Lombdas what do you do?
Mechanics: Initiative: Party 1 Hobgoblins 5
Hobgoblin attacks Arom 20 (Critical!), 5 * 2 = 10 damage, Arom dies Hobgoblin attacks Coylian 20 (Critical!), 4 * 2 = 8 damage, 8 damage, Coylian dies
Lombdas casts Sleep, affects 7 HD of monsters, all hobgoblins go to sleep.

Not wanting to tarry for too long, Lombdas grabs the two items from his companions' corpse which have the most value; Arom's black magical mace and his shield. With one last glance at his former comrades, he heads back to the Keep.
