You would release Mordecai based on that thug Seredoc? Hilgrim remembers how this guy liked to play with his knife...
Now that Teekan is dead, I have no personal attachment to whatever you may find at the hobgoblin site.
There's two additional things I would like other than have Mordecai released. First, please bury every adventurer you find at the camp. They were good souls, specially that dwarf who's name was Kughor. Second, not sure what you'll find as a reward but it could be considerable. Any chance of getting enough money to heal ourselves a little bit more?
Hilgrim won't bother to negociate very much. He hopes to get something to heal. He then procedes in giving the location of the hobgoblins.

The captain ponders your suggestions and answers: "Burying fallen men, no problem. It is bad omen to let men rotting in the woods. Their soul is never put at rest and they could rise again as unholy abominations. For the healing, I cannot promise any coins but I offer you free lodging and food in the barrack for three days. What say you? We have a deal? I won't be bargaining anymore than that."

Do you guys want to stick around for three days? I think once you are healed, we should go adventuring. I heard that a group of adventurers passed through town on their way to some place called Akban. Maybe we can get there before they do. People here say no one has ever returned from there, but I am sure they didn't have a dwarf with them. It's too bad we don't have a mule to help us carry equipment there and carry treasure back to town.(( ))

After almost dying a couple of time in the last couple of days, some rest would be welcome.
To the guard, Hilgrim says: I suppose you'll tell Mordecai to come and join us if he's found not guilty.
Turghar, you know what? That place you just mentioned, Akban, is the place the fallen adventurers wanted to go to. I've heard they were missing something so they had to get money before going to Akban. That's what cost their life with the Hobgoblin. As for a mule, I had one before going to Nantwin's mill but I don't know what happened to it...

((OK, it's been dragging on for long enough.))
Hilgrim accepts the deal and explain to the Captain where to find the hobgoblin camp. Starke immediately sends a detachment of 15 foot soldiers to the site and then ask for the transfer of Seredoc's corpse to the temple. Hilgrim is invited to come with Starke to meet the head priest of Faelon in Brem (the only one capable of casting the required spell) while the rest of the group stay quietly at the barrack.
The young lad and the Captain come back a couple of hours later and explain that the dead halfling confirmed what Mordecai said. He releases the warrior without any sort of excuses and warm everyone that they should stay out of trouble in his city. The adventurers take a frugal soldier supper with some watered down ale and quickly go to sleep in the multiple bunk beds.
The following morning the soldiers sent to eradicate the hobgoblins come back carrying the corpse of one of their fellow. They also bring back a huge sac of coin and various items taken from the Ogre's lair in the basement of the watchtower. Initially, the Captain sports a stern face in respect for his fallen man, but then glances at you with a slight grin. He seems pleased with himself.
You spent the two following days and nights at the barrack and wake up on the fourth day refreshed and ready for adventure.
Where will you go?

Modecai goes around town asking for jobs for him and the group. When passes the guard who manhandled him, he poroudly speaks the following sentence in his traditionnal eloquence.
You hit like a girl anyway.
