Looking at the nervous man Seredoc grabs his dagger sharply by the pommel, flips it in the air then snatches it and slips it into its sheath.
With a crooked smile he speaks in a calm and soothing tone...
Good day fine ser. Rat problems perhaps?
Seredoc then glances around, looking at everyone indifferently.

Maybe you should see Captain Starke. We have a mission to protect your city from Hobgoblins and Ogres. My last expedition against these foes was a disaster, my friends died, we lost all our equipment. Now all I have left is my mule, and soon, I won't be able to care for her. So, I am going back to kill those monsters, bury my friends, get my equipment back, and hopefully get the monsters' loot. I am sure it is worth much more than you have to offer. So, sorry, but we have to do this first. The local law should be able to help you with Thorkell. Maybe if we get back to town alive, we can find out what's going on in your mill.

Well when you put it like that...
Kurcgon turns to face Teekan again.
Alright you win! His job sounds like easy money but what kind o' person would I be if I let a lad like you in dire need. I'm a man o' the cloth after all and I would'nt deserve that title if did help out those in need. Right?
He moves to Teekan's side and grabs him by the shoulder.
I dont know about you guys but I'm with him!

With a bit of a slither in his walk, Seredoc glides over beside Teekan. Still smiling his sly smile he looks at Teekan and calmly says...
It sounds like you need our help more than our nervous city dweller. It also sounds like it will be more lucrative.
...and his smile curls at the corners as he speaks the word lucrative.

Elddyn just enjoys the quick glances of ladies doing their market as he listens to the little group. He flexes his big muscles in a casual yet manly way juste before he speaks, "Aight, I want to kill the Ogre and the 'goblins. I'm with you."

A smile forms on Kurcgon's face.
Well then, i'd say we have an agreement! The ogre it is! But first, I need to buy myself some cloth, you know for bandages and stuff.
((How much would 3 pieces of clean cloth cost?))

Hilgrim, who was a little further away from the group to see Balduin, heard Nantwin in panic telling his story...
My! Thorkell is in danger! We need to help him! Of course, Nantwin won't tell Raban Starke, he's Thorkell's uncle...
Running back toward the group, yelling: Guys! We need to help Nantwin and Thorkell! He then explains to the group that people in the village help each other and that they need to get Thorkell out of the mill.

Seredoc's smile slips into an angry frown. He turns to Hilgrim...
Thorkell is dead by now. Not much will come of bringing up a corpse.

Argh... Why do i gotta be such a nice guy?
Well i have to admit, saving someone who MIGHT still be alive is much more productive than avenging people who have already fallen for sure... no offense o' course.
He moves to hilgrim.
I'll save your mate. Vengence can wait another day.
