Morstad stands up and looks at Fern straight in the eyes. "OK old man we have a deal. I'll join up as a member of your group."
Unsheating his dagger, he plants it violently in the wooden table and adds "But try to double-cross me or not give me my due and you'll be the first to receive this through your throat."

Firali, grins ever so slightly and nods. He then takes a sip of his drink and looks over the room to see if anyone is paying special attention to the conversation.
I am not so sure that this ruffian will act as a member and I am not sure that he should receive as much of the reward as we. Only time will tell and possibly sway my opinion.

Kughor stands by his group and listens carefully to the negotiations with Morstad. Knowing very well that his friends have usually certain "persuasive" arguments, he'll trust whichever direction the discussions go.
Can't wait and see what we'll find in that Akban dungeon... I'll make sure that my axe is so sharp that it won't even make a sound when I chop off heads of whatever we'll encounter...
Morstad speaks and explains that he'll joins the group. We'll see how Keltin's ear does in a couple of days...
Good decision Morstad! Welcome to our group!

((Morstad requires 50 gold pieces for his equipment. He currently has nothing except his clothes and a dagger. Decide among yourselves who pays how much and he'll owe you 25 gp. He'll buy: - Bastard sword (20 gp)
- Light Crossbow (12 gp)
- 20 Light Bolts (2 gp)
- Leather Armor (5 gp)
- Backpack (5 gp)
- Bedroll (2 sp)
- 2 days of Trail Rations (2 x 5 sp)
- 3 Torches (3 x 1cp)
- Waterskin (1 gp)
Which is worth 46 gp, 2 sp, 3 cp rounded up to 50 gp to keep some pocket change.))

With their new friend Morstad, the adventurers drink, sing and plan for their expedition for the rest of the evening. After most of the tarvern's clientele has left for the night, they commonly decide to leave for the Riverside Inn where they will spent the night. The inn being almost empty on this night, the innkeeper offers them rooms for one gold piece each. A sturdy breakfast of ham and eggs will be offered at an additional cost of two silver pieces in the morning.
Tomorrow morning, they will be able to complete the last preparations needed before meeting up with a fully outfitted Morstad and leaving for Akban around noon.
((I suppose that everybody is sleeping at the inn so deduct 1 gp and an additional 2 sp for those that take the breakfast. Just tell me if you prefer to go on an empty stomach.))

As Firali and his co-adventurers are walking to the inn...
Well then, this is slightly embarassing. I only have 8sp and 5cp left after having purchased my equipment. Would someone have 1gp to spare until we get to our bounty?

Before leaving the inn, Teekan mentions that they should check out the monastery for info on Akban and his dungeon. They may have maps, scrolls, and who knows what. He also wants to see how much they would charge to take care of Daisy for a while. On his way to the inn, he tells Morstad how they came about the map with secret entrance, and how it came from a reliable source. All I have is 16gp, and I have no problem giving it to you for your equipment needs, I am sure that with your help, we will get more than enough in return. The rest will need to come from the others. Firali, I'll give 1gp for a room at the inn, but we'll need to share, I'll sleep on my bedroll. Morstad, I'll give you my last 1gp, unless you have other arrangements for the night? He still didn't tell us why he was in town. I hope the others have the money they promised him. I don't want to have sell Daisy!

On his way to the inn, Fern talks to Keltin.
My friend, I am broke but not as much as you, so if you want to sleep on your bedroll, I will pay for a room and two breakfasts. This will leave me enough money to pay for some trail rations tomorrow. What do you think of the new guy? I deal him good but we should still inquire on his past and whereabouts. Tell me, did you get any useful information for that gold piece?
((Assuming Keltin will mention the Moon metal, Fern will suggest checking it out tomorrow and even buying some if possible.))

Morstad thanks Teekan for his offer but he already has arrangements for the night. He just says he'll pass by the inn at 7 o'clock to gather the money you promised him and will see you back at noon with all his new equipment.

Firali indicates that he agrees with Teekan about the monastery. He also indicates that he can spare 5sp for Morstad.
((Assuming that Keltin will share the information on Moon Metal, then Firali will indicate that it is a priority to find out what it is and get some))
Looking at Morstad, Firali inquires...
Morstad, do you know where a group such as ourselves could find a "job" that would pay gold, say 50 to 100gp, in a quick fashion? A sidequest if you will.
