((Yes. Are the bodies from the last battle still lying around?))
((Also, my spell for to day is protection from evil.))

((That's good for Landan. He is a bit scared and would have preferred to not have the responsibility of guarding the rear but he is afraid to mention it. He doesn't want to become the 6th victim))
Do not worry, I'll cover the rear!

You reach the mouth of the goblins' cave and do not see the corpse of the monsters you've slain last time. The place is quiet. Almost too quiet...

Rattlehead
Apparently they cleared around .. I knew We should've kept the head of the ogre as a trophy.
Looking around for something different of the last time we came ...
Careful where you step, you don't want to trigger a trap.
((Can I perform a trap detection roll for the cave entrance?))

Rattlehead spends a turn at the cave entrance looking for traps but does not find anything.

"Aye Krim, I coul'nt wish fo' a finer frien' to watch m' back. Now take that grapplin' hook o' yours an toss it down the corr'dor. When you reel i' in, it should snatch up any tripwires left b' the bast'rds!"

After firmly attaching it to a rope, Krim tosses his grappling hook toward the other side of the tunnel. It lands with a nice thunk inside the cavern's inner chamber. Pulling on the rope you notice a slight tension as the grappling hook gets caught in something as it exits the chamber. With difficulty, due to the darkness of the cave, you see something give in and a flask of liquid crash to the ground. It doesn't take more than five seconds for a lit torch to land in the pool of dark liquid which subsequently catches on fire.
From your relatively safe position outside, a surprised Sir Pelandres says "Well... it seems those little bastards are more clever than usual. I suppose you did to them something similar and they decided to return the favor. Well done Grok'tul, you've saved us from great injuries. That said, they now know we are here. Let's wait a minute to see if they are foolish enough to rush us outside."
You wait for a minute after the flames die down but nothing happens.
What do you do?

Beltyne
I have to say this is uncommon behavior from these critters. We should be very careful and move in.

((Go see the map thread for reference.))
You enter the cave, cautiously making it back to the fork. All is dark and there is nothing in sight, except for the remains of the trap you just avoided. Sir Pelandres whispers a word and his sword begins to glow, giving you some light.
Where will you go?
((Who else is carrying some light?))

Landan,
Hey, it is pretty dark. Anyone has a torch. I forgot to buy some.
