Elddyn deposits the lantern on the ground and grabs the spear with both hands, ready to strike the goblins coming in our back. "Stay calm people...", he shouts, "Goblins are cowards and when they see we don't back down... THEY will run away!"

Graveshroud stands tall and shakes his head a few times...
GOBLINS... damned my imagination. I thought they were orcs by the sound of them. Stand your ground. They are cowards and I may be able to trick them. I will tell them that we are here to relieve them of their duty. If they ask about the trap, I will say that I tripped and set it off by accident. If that fails, we can attack while they are confused.

((So... do you all adopt a relaxed pose and attempt to trick the goblins or stay with weapons at the ready? BTW, Lexx is moving this weekend so may not be able to post. We'll use his standing orders if needed. Don't forget that he has a wisdom of 3 ))

Graveshroud stands in a more relaxed position, his mace at his belt, but his hand on the pommel, ready to draw and attack if required.

You stand by, all casual like, and wait for the goblins to arrive. They burst through the doors from your right and are about to jump of you with their short swords. Graveshroud puts his left hand forward and shouts the traditional goblin greeting: "GOSU!".
They all stop, wary, only two meters away from you. What do you tell them?

Graveshroud looks at the goblins with a commanding look, slightly scowling.
Who was left in charge here?

At the same moment the goblins are about to say something, you hear a shout for help in the goblin tongue from the northern corridor: "Alert! The vermin attacks!"
This gives you just enough time to all slip by them and enter the idol room, closing the door behind you. You head back to the surface and are glad when you see the sun high above your head. A cool breeze brushes your face and you give a long glance at your companions. Not much is said, but all understands. Akban is a deathtrap and you are not fool enough to give your life for nothing.
You all adjust your backpacks tightly on your shoulders and start to walk. But to where? Your group is not in good standing with the authorities at Brem, so heading back there is probably not a good idea. You must go where the riches lie and a farmer village in the northern part of the Known Lands is probably not profitable enough in any case. So, you set your mind on the merchant city of Caladan. There, there will surely be many things to steal, plunder and loot. However, it is almost a month of travel away on foot. The voyage will be long and dangerous.
Caladan... You smile to yourself thinking about the riches that will soon be yours as you walk away from Akban.
